COUNTY CHAIRMAN
Steve Green
 
On July 16, 2011 the Fayette County Republican Party Executive
Committee elected Steve Green as Chairman. At the time of his
election Steve was the Precinct Chair from Warda.

Leadership
The Fayette County Republican Party is led by
an elected County Chairman and 26 Precinct Chairs. Each serves a
two-year term. Together they are the voting members of the
Executive Committee.

Other members of the FCRP include a
Vice-Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer, Parliamentarian, and
Chaplin. Some of these officers are appointed by the County Chairman
and others
elected by the Executive Committee.

Fayette County is divided into four County
Commissioner Precincts. There are County Precinct Coordinators,
one from each of the four precincts, who assist the County
Chairman with his duties relative to activities and elections in
that precinct.

The day-to-day work of the FCRP is
accomplished through its seven Standing Committees:

Activities - Plans and manages
activities & events.

Finance - Oversees FCRP
treasury activities.

Candidates - Recruits and
advises candidates.

Hospitality - Arranges
locations for meetings.

Membership & Volunteers -
Assists the Secretary.

Liaison - Coordinates with
local government.

Publicity - Produces
newsletters and public notices.
Each Standing Committee elects its own
Committee Chairman, except the Finance Committee which is always
chaired by the Treasurer. The County Chairman is a member of
every Standing Committee.

Application
Any person who believes in the philosophy of
the Republican Party and objectives of the FCRP, is a registered
voter and pays annual dues may be a Regular member and enjoy the
full privileges of membership.
